This page explains the reading features on GlobeBriefly and how to contact the operator about your information.
Saved articles and reading history
For guests, saved stories, visited article titles and URLs, thumbnails and dates are stored in this browser. The theme does not send a guest reading list to the server. Use your library to remove entries, clear or export a list, or pause history. Clearing browser storage removes the local copy.
When you are signed in and account synchronization is enabled, your lists are stored with your WordPress account. Only your authenticated account can access its lists through the theme. Each list is limited to the configured maximum, never more than 200 entries.
Preferences and accounts
Appearance preferences may be kept in browser storage. WordPress uses cookies for sign-in and account sessions. If you submit a comment, the information you enter and technical information used for moderation may be processed by WordPress.
Article ratings, likes and sharing
If you rate or like an article, we store your choice and a hash of a random browser token on our server. A one-year cookie named gbreader_voter lets this browser maintain one current rating and one like per article. You can change your rating or remove your like using the same controls. We do not store raw IP addresses with this feedback. Clearing the cookie disconnects your browser from earlier feedback but does not automatically remove it; contact us before clearing it if you need help with a deletion request.
Social icons link to our profiles or open a sharing screen on the selected platform. Nothing is posted until you choose to submit it there. The Google preferred-source link opens Google’s preferences; choosing a source is handled by Google. These buttons do not load third-party social widgets or the Google Preferred Sources script on article pages.
Listen later uses the same saved-article library described above. The audio player does not start automatically; playing an external recording contacts its hosting service.
Images, audio and video
Loading media contacts the server hosting the file. External video players can receive network information under their own policies. In click-to-load mode, a YouTube or Vimeo player is loaded after you press Play; in direct mode it can load with the page. Ordinary external links take you to sites with their own privacy practices.
Advertising and technical operation
An empty Advertisement space is a layout placeholder and does not itself load an ad network. Any advertising or analytics service added to the site must be described before use where disclosure or consent is required. The website host and security services may process request information needed to operate and protect the site.

Contact sekaprodot@gmail.com about access, correction, deletion or other privacy questions. WordPress offers personal-data export and erasure tools for account data; locally stored guest lists can be cleared in your browser. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in your request.
